Officer looking for those ‘monsters’ that stole elderly woman’s wedding band

Kalamazoo police are seeking to trace down three men who slipped jewelry from an elderly lady, including her wedding band.
William Moore, the Kalamazoo Public Safety Sergeant, said that this could have been his grandmother, this could have been anyone’s grandmother, and she is ninety-six years old. He wondered what kind of monsters would do engage in something like this.
The detectives of Kalamazoo Public Safety are expecting the people would be able to give answer to that last question of his. They are in search of a truck that was carrying three middle-aged, white men near Golfview earlier on Tuesday.
That is the time when the three thieves came at the doorstep of the victim. Moore stated that what they primarily did was knock on the door and say “you need your roof fixed.” The ninety-six year old lady fell for that scam.

David Arquette shares his photo with new wife Christina McLarty

David Arquette was really a happy man when he took is wedding vows with Christina McLarty earlier on Sunday. It was really evident as the pair unveiled their first official wedding sap earlier on Tuesday – 2 days after the festive setting among close friends and family members in Los Angeles.

The somewhat flirtatious photo showed the groom and the bride in glorious black and white, with David Arquette’s arm wrapped snugly around McLartys waist and a hand resting on her derriere.

Clerk’s office to hold 2-hour wedding ceremonies on Thursdays

Starting next week, from Thursday, the Rutherford County Clerks office would perform civil marriage ceremonies just for two hours. The clerks office would perform marriages earlier on Thursdays from 9 am to 11 am, starting from 2nd March, at their offices located on North Maple Street in Murfreesboro and on I Street in Smyrna, told Rutherford County Clerk Lisa Crowell.

The office will go on to grant wedding licenses as needed under the state law. Lisa told that the brand new policy was made months ago to attempt to deal with a developing number of marriage ceremonies at their offices with no extra cost last year.

Crowell said that they sill want to perform this service. They only have to get a handle on this. At times, stuff would prefer to take the couples into the private place that is available to arrange the wedding ceremony – i.e. Crowells personal office.

She told that she really have nowhere to perform the ceremonies. She added that the ceremony is a courtesy and not a requirement for her staff to perform. The Thursdays-only plan is made after the policy brought in by Davidson County Clerks office that also arranges ceremonies on Thursdays. She further added that the 2-hour policy can only be changed only if there are military members.

Wedding snapshots popular at the Grand Central

The Grand Central Terminal is popular for its Beaux Arts architecture work, light streaming via cathedral windows, a lofty ceiling as well as the popular, 4-faced clock on a golden base. It is a tourist magnet, a well known historic landmark and a working train terminal along with thousands of people streaming through daily.

It is also common, these days, to see grooms and brides there, decked out in full wedding regalia: flowing gowns, bridesmaids, groomsmen and bouquets as well as photographers. Karen Bussen, a New York based photographer, told that this is that juxtaposition of a moment of romance against the hustle and bustle.

Karen added that a lot of the couples taking wedding snaps at the Grand Central have no personal link to this. They are dropping their love story into this iconic place that lends romance and a larger sense of history. Continue reading →
