This was a proposal design done for a client to present to the National gallery of Art in Washington, DC. The idea behind the design was to reflect a look and feel that was inline with the Museum’s identity.

This is an example of a recent clothing catalog designed for Golden Island Gear – a tropical themed t-shirt and beach wear company. They needed a catalog they could feature online and in print to really showcase their clothing line and translate a certain “island life” mentality to really hit home with their potential customers. We chose colorful island and beach images of people in their demographics to help translate their beachy image and organic clothing line.

This is a recent brochure designed for Smithsonian Journeys for an upcoming tour to Italy to witness the famous Stradivari violins being played in a special event. The layout was done in such a way that it would lend to both printing and for downloading from the internet.

This is an example of a front and back flyer/handout design we recently did for the Fund for Education Abroad, a new non-profit organization set up to help raise funds and award scholarships to qualified students looking to study abroad.  They needed a flyer designed to help spread the word about their newest scholarship winners and they wanted us to continue to use the colors we had incorporated into their logo design to keep the brand unification strong between different media types including this flyer design.

This is an example of a web-friendly brochure design done for the Boston Symphony Orchestra for a local tour operator to use a a selling tool to help promote the opportunity for the Symphony to use their travel programs as a means to generate fundraising opportunities for their mission. The PDF is in a single page layout so that it remains friendly to personal home printers as potential travelers come across it and download it from the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s website.

Here’s an unusual example of a brochure designed for the Fund for American Studies in which they had requested that the general theme for the piece be that it might look like it were an old photo album.  Although this design presented some challenges, the final result was right inline with what they were looking for.

Here’s a short, introductory web-friendly brochure recently designed for the Strathmore Center for the Performing Arts.  They were looking for a something downloadable from the web to compliment their upcoming Jazz tour to Paris listed on their website.  We took the content from the web pages and simply rendered it in a clean and inviting way, while giving it a slightly modern feel by accenting the images and subtext with bold colors that contrast well with the primarily white brochure layout.

This was a two-fold, six panel flyer we were asked to design for a tour guide in Greece.  She wanted to have a portable promotional flyer that she could have with her at all times and be able to hand out whenever needed.  She wanted to highlight her knowledge of Greece – being a native and a having a PhD in Greek history – and feature some fantastic location photos of Greece and the Cyclades Islands. It provides all her contact information in a neat, compact and well presented design.

This is an example of a one of ten two-sided “fact sheets” designed for the World Health Organization to be used as hand outs at health trade shows, internally within the organization’s divisions and for many other applications.  The faded color wheel, which is one of their adopted marketing collateral images is incorporated on both sides on all ten fact sheets done. They sought a look and feel that presented as informative, more so than decorative.

Here is an example of a four-panel, one-fold brochure design we recently did for CET Academic Programs, a scholastic business that offers study programs abroad in places like China, Japan, Italy, Sicily, Spain and Syria.  They have a very distinct style and I wanted to be sure to carry this through on this piece as we really like their look.
