This month, Arena Stage is looking for the perfect match in a competition to offer a free wedding ceremony at Washington Theater. The competition is inspired by forthcoming production of “Fiddler on the Roof” where the daughters of Trevye attempt to convince him they must be able to select their own husbands to tie the knot. The production observes their 50th anniversary this year.
The theater told that the couples in Washington region could enter by submitting videos or essays through 31st August, about why they are the real match. Khady Kamara told that they were asking D.C. couples why they must be married there.
The winning couple would get a free marriage ceremony and wedding photographer, reception as well as a cocktail hour for up to hundred and seventy five guests at the Arena Stage. The package includes decor, music, catering, flowers, a wedding cake and lighting. The whole package is valued at US$ 80000.
The state company told that they have already twenty entries – some heart racking tales, and some romantic stories. But one thing is for sure – all have a whole lot of love. For instance, Paul Story, a D.C. bus driver, missed his own marriage around 3 years ago when he fell ill the evening before, a complication of his diabetes.
He told of the bride that she never donned her dress, she purchased this beautiful attire, she never got to see her wear – she was sick.
She has got a perfect bikini body, and Nikki Phillips was not really about to hide this under layers of tulle when she tied the knot with beau Dane Rumble around fifteen days ago. The stunning blonde slipped into a custom made Steven Khalil dress for her destination wedding and she made sure the mermaid frock hugged each curve of her body. The fashion house that made the lacy number uploaded a behind-the-scenes snap from the thirty year old earlier on Thursday, showing the full splendor of the form-fitting gown.
Nikki Philips is spotted standing in the centre of the beautiful boutique and looks over one shoulder as the elaborate train fans out across the floor. In the Instagram snap, also featured were the accumulation of more weighty stunning gowns hanging in the background.
The Sydney based model and her thirty two year old husband selected matching ensembles on their wedding day with the musician sporting a Hallenstein Brothers dress. Sporting a white crisp blazer along with black pocket details as well as a matching tie, coupled with a pair of dark trousers, he appeared dapper as he stood beside his love at the ceremony in Bali.
Nikki sported her blonde sleek locks out with an elusive wave on the day and accessorized her custom attire with a couple of glitzy earrings.
A Native American pair would renew their wedding vows at sunrise at Tazewell County Airport on 19th April. Gray Feather Kenley Mays, who is a member of Painted Mountain Indian Community, and his wife of fifty years, Pari-Dokht Rowshan would renew their wedding vows and also have a bonding ceremony. Chief A.J. Red Bear Phillips of Painted Mountain Indian community would officiate the wedding.
The pair would renew their wedding vows for the next 7 lifetimes. After hearing that Kenley proposed to his wife 2 and a half hours after they met, Chief Red Feather told Mays how do you know you have not been together for 5 lifetimes already.
In reply, Gray Feather Mays told that he does not, but he does not make any difference after fifty years another three and hundred and fifty would not be a huge deal. There would be a person in attendance for each of the 4 directions and The Creator, the Great Spirit and Mother Earth.
In the spot of the Great Spirit would be Gray Feather’s old friend Chief Two Bears Standing principal chief as well as Uku of the Red Nation of Cherokee. Mother Earth would be represented by Pawnee Jewel. The ceremony would start as the sun breaks over eastern horizon. They selected the airport was for the ceremony as it is the highest place in the nation that can be easily accessed by automobile.
